Trenlock Kennels & Retrievers strives to produce and train strong retrievers that are genetically designed to hunt and work.
Trenlock Retrievers will occasionally have Labrador Retriever puppies or Golden Retriever puppies available to working, hunting, sporting, or active pet homes.
Started hunting dogs (Labradors and Golden Retrievers) are sometimes available as well.
Gun Dog Programs
The Trenlock Gun Dog Program is designed to build the natural drive and retrieving instincts of your retriever. The goal of the program is to, of course, send home a dog that understands the mechanics of hunting, but also loves it as much as you do.
Obedience Programs
Trenlock Obedience Programs work to produce well behaved dogs that truly understand basic obedience commands and enjoy participating in the commands. The program is also meant to aid owners to better understand and handle their dogs.
Puppy Programs
Trenlock Puppy Programs, whether Gun Dog or Obedience, are introduction courses to give puppies a leg up in training. This program can be a resource for new puppy owners that have either never owned a puppy before or haven’t owned one for many years.

She is a fast, smart, trainable, and enthusiastic dog who LOVES to work. Quick to pick up on new things and eager to please. Yet completely happy to sleep on the couch at home. Currently has her HRC Started Hunting Retriever title. We hope to get her AKC Junior Hunter before fall. Her agility debut is coming soon!"

Trenlock's Fallen Apollo: Lester is the perfect combination of your typical loving golden retriever and high drive hunting dog. An extremely intelligent boy that needs minimal correcting and catches on quick to whatever you’re training. Lester is also very goofy and full of confidence, he’s not afraid to try anything. His pedigree is already on full display with his love for birds, swimming, and running long marks. He has a soft mouth but firm hold on live birds even without force fetch training. His bird drive and visual tracking is through the roof already, and we cannot wait to get him in the field!
